Supporting friends

I went to the fountain valley  homecoming game when they lost against Newport Harbor. But whether they won or lost isn’t the point. It’s how the players feel after the game.

When kids, and even adults, watch football games, they are only concerned about who scores more touchdowns and whether the team is making good plays or not. That was the last thing on my mind. When I watch my friends giving all their effort on every play, while losing, I know that takes so much heart and confidence. They’re aware that everybody is talking bad about the team, yet they still won’t give up. When I see them after the game, they aren’t even that sad. Because they know they did everything they can to win. And that’s one of the greatest mindsets a person can inherit.
